Morgan Sindall Completes 75M Project

New Asphalt Surface to Improve Noise Levels

National Highways has announced the completion of a 75M concrete surface reconstruction scheme on the A12 Margaretting Bypass in Essex.

The project, carried out by contractor Morgan Sindall, involved replacing an 8km section of concrete road with a new asphalt surface.

According to National Highways, the new surface will significantly reduce noise levels for local residents and improve the overall driving experience.

The A12 Margaretting Bypass is a major road connecting the M25 motorway to the Port of Felixstowe. The works are part of National Highways' Concrete Roads Programme, which aims to repair or replace the concrete surface of motorways and major A roads in England.
