The Boston Celtics defeated the Dallas Mavericks 107-89 tonight in a highly anticipated matchup between two of the NBA's top teams. Kristaps Porzingis, who returned from a calf injury, led the Mavericks with 20 points, including 18 in the first half. However, it was not enough to overcome the Celtics, who were led by Jayson Tatum's 25 points and Jaylen Brown's 22 points.

The Celtics took control of the game in the third quarter, outscoring the Mavericks 32-19. They held the Mavericks to just 38.7% shooting from the field in the second half, while shooting 52.2% themselves.
