Jorginho: Mikel Arteta Tried to Sign Me for Arsenal Twice

Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has revealed that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta attempted to sign him on two separate occasions.
The Italian international, who has been heavily linked with a move to the Gunners in recent months, admitted that Arteta had approached him while he was playing for Napoli and again after he joined Chelsea in 2018.
"Arteta wanted me at Arsenal, it's true," Jorginho told The Telegraph. "He tried to sign me when I was at Napoli and again when I was at Chelsea.
With Jorginho's contract at Chelsea expiring at the end of the season, the 31-year-old is free to negotiate with other clubs from January onwards.
